There may have been a yellow warning for rain but that did not deter our volunteers and exhibitors from coming to Alford Heritage Museum on Sunday to make with our final event of season, our Steam and Stationary Engine Crank up, such a success. In addition to our many external exhibitors we were able to get some of the museum stationary engines running, some for the first time in many years!
The weather and road conditions did not deter visitors either! A big thank you to the large number of you who came along. We hope you enjoyed your day despite the weather and will come back again to see more of the museum on a better day when we reopen for the 2024 season in spring.
